SAT-LOA-20141002-00105 E S2931 DISH Operating L.L.C. Date Filed: 10/02/2014 17:10:35:76600 Launch and Operating Authority DISH Operating L.L.C. requests authority to launch and operate a space station known as EchoStar 18 at the 109.9° W.L. orbital location. EchoStar 18 will serve as an in-orbit spare until DISH provides thirty day notice to the Commission that it will place EchoStar 18 into service to provide Direct Broadcast Satellite Service in the 12.2-12.7 GHz (space-to-Earth) and 17.3-17.8 GHz (Earth-to-Space) frequency bands as a replacement for the EchoStar 10 space station, using the 29 channels licensed to DISH at the 110° W.L. orbital location.
