SAT-MOD-20140612-00067 E S2712 DIRECTV Enterprises, LLC Modification Grant of Authority Effective Date: 11/20/2014 Nature of Service: Other On November 20, 2014, the Satellite Division granted, with conditions, the application of DIRECTV Enterprises, LLC to modify its authorization for the DIRECTV RB-2 space station in the 17/24 GHz Broadcasting-Satellite Service to demonstrate compliance with the technical rules and information requirements adopted in the 17/24 GHz BSS Second Report and Order, FCC 11-93, 26 FCC Rcd 8927 (2011). SAT-MOD-20140902-00098 E S2861 DIRECTV Enterprises, LLC Modification Grant of Authority Effective Date: 11/20/2014 Nature of Service: Direct to Home Fixed Satellite, Fixed Satellite Service On November 20, 2014, the Satellite Division granted, with conditions, the application of DIRECTV Enterprises, LLC to modify the authorization for its DIRECTV KU-79W geostationary-satellite orbit space station. DIRECTV was authorized to conduct telemetry, tracking, and command functions necessary to operate DIRECTV KU-79W at the 78.8° W.L. orbital location using center frequencies of 11.70025 GHz (space-to-Earth), 11.70125 GHz (space-to-Earth), 14.0005 GHz (Earth-to-space), and 14.4965 GHz (Earth-to-space), instead of its previously authorized center frequencies of 11.704 GHz (space-to-Earth), 11.705 GHz (space-to-Earth), 14.005 GHz (Earth-to-space),and 14.495 GHz (Earth-to-space). DIRECTV's existing authorization to construct, launch, and operate DIRECTV KU-79W to provide fixed-satellite service in the 11.7-12.2 GHz (space-to-Earth) and 14.0-14.5 GHz (Earth-to-space) frequency bands at the 78.8º W.L. orbital location remains otherwise unchanged. Petition for Declaratory Ruling to be Added to the Permitted List Grant of Authority Effective Date: 11/20/2014 Nature of Service: Fixed Satellite Service On November 20, 2014, the Satellite Division granted, with conditions, the petition of Hispasat, S.A. for a declaratory ruling to add the Amazonas-1 space station at the 55.5° W.L. orbital location to the Commission's Permitted Space Station List in the 11.7-11.83 GHz and 11.95-12.2 GHz (space-to-Earth), and 14.0-14.125 GHz (Earth-to-space) frequency bands, and to access the U.S. market via Amazonas-1 at 55.5° W.L. in the 13.75-14.0 GHz (Earth-to-space) frequency band.
