The applications listed below have been found, upon initial review, to be acceptable for filing. The Commission reserves
the right to return any of the applications if, upon further examination, it is determined the application is not in
conformance with the Commission's rules or its policies. Consideration of each satellite application in this Public Notice
may depend on the Commission's action on another satellite application earlier in the queue. Petitions, oppositions and
other pleadings filed in response to this notice should conform to Section 25.154 of the Commission's rules, unless

 SES Americom, Inc. seeks to modify the authorization for its AMC-1 space station in order to specify operations at the 47.5º W.L. orbital
 location, rather than its currently licensed location at 103° W.L. SES seeks authority to: (1) operate AMC-1 at 47.5º W.L., with an east-west
 stationkeeping tolerance of +/- 0.15 degrees, to provide fixed-satellite service in the 3700-4200 MHz (space-to-Earth), 5925-6425 MHz
 (Earth-to-space), 11.7-12.2 GHz (space-to-Earth), and 14.0-14.5 GHz (Earth-to-space) frequency bands, and (2) seeks authority to provide
 direct-to-home (DTH) FSS to the United States in the 11.7-12.2 GHz (space-to-Earth) frequency band. In addition, SES requests authority to
 conduct telemetry, tracking and telecommand operations necessary to effect the drift of AMC-1 from 103º W.L. to 47.5° W.L., and to maintain
 AMC-1 upon its arrival at the 47.5° W.L. orbital location using the following center frequencies: 3700.5 MHz (space-to-Earth), 4199.5 MHz
 (space-to-Earth), 12.198 GHz (space-to-Earth), and 6423.5 MHz (Earth-to-space). SES will operate AMC-1 under Netherlands International
 Telecommunication Union satellite network filings and coordination agreements. AMC-1 will be co-located with the NSS-806 space station at
 the 47.5° W.L. orbital location. In connection with this request, SES seeks waivers of Sections 25.114(d)(3), 25.202(g), and 25.210(j) of the
 Commission's rules and continued waivers of Sections 25.114(d)(14)(ii) and 25.283(c) of the Commission's rules that were granted in its current
 authorization (IBFS File No. SAT-MOD-20110718-00130, granted Oct. 13, 2012).

 Planet Labs Inc. requests modification of its authorization to operate a non-geostationary orbit Earth Exploration Satellite Service system. Planet
 Labs requests authority to continuously maintain and operate a constellation of up to 56 technically identical satellites at an altitude of between
 380 and 410 kilometers. Each satellite will be deployed from the International Space Station and has an expected in-orbit lifetime of
 approximately 7 months. Planet Labs requests authority to launch a total of up to 500 technically identical satellites over the next 10 years in
 order to maintain this constellation. All satellites will transmit remote-sensing and telemetry data to fixed earth stations in the 8025-8400 MHz
 frequency band, receive command signals in the 2025-2110 MHz band, and use the 401-402 MHz and 449.75-450.25 MHz bands for
 early-phase and emergency-backup telemetry, tracking, and command operations.
