The effective date of these actions is the release date of this Notice, except where an effective date is specified. SAT-MPL-20130906-00114 E S2591 New Skies Satellites B.V. Modification to PDR/PPL Grant of Authority Effective Date: 02/04/2014 Nature of Service: Direct to Home Fixed Satellite, Fixed Satellite Service On February 4, 2014, the Satellite Division granted, with conditions, the petition of New Skies Satellites B.V. to access the U.S. market via the NSS-806 space station at the 47.5º W.L. orbital location using extended C-band frequencies. NSS-806 is licensed by the Administration of the Netherlands. Specifically, New Skies was granted U.S. market access to use NSS-806 at 47.5º W.L. to provide Fixed-Satellite Service in the 3600-3700 MHz (space-to-Earth), 5850-5925 MHz (Earth-to-space), and 6491-6650 MHz (Earth-to-space) frequency bands. SAT-STA-20140203-00012 E S2401 Intelsat License LLC Special Temporary Authority Grant of Authority Effective Date: 02/06/2014 On February 6, 2014, the Satellite Division granted, with conditions, special temporary authority to Intelsat License LLC, for a period of 60 days, to: (1) continue to provide Fixed-Satellite Service, on a temporary basis, via the Intelsat 706 space station at the 157.0º E.L. orbital location in the 3700-4200 MHz (space-to-Earth), 5925-6425 MHz (Earth-to-space), 10.95-11.2 GHz (space-to-Earth), 11.45-11.7 GHz (space-to-Earth), 12.5-12.75 GHz (space-to-Earth), and 14.0-14.5 GHz (Earth-to-space) frequency bands; and (2) conduct telemetry, tracking, and command operations necessary to maintain the Intelsat 706 space station at 157.0º E.L. using the following center frequencies: 3947.5 MHz, 3948.0 MHz, 3952.5 MHz, and 3952.0 MHz (space-to-Earth); and 6173.7 MHz and 6176.3 MHz (Earth-to-space).
