On December 16, 2013, the Satellite Division granted in part, with conditions, and denied in part, the application of Intelsat License LLC
(formerly Intelsat North America LLC) to construct, launch, and operate a satellite, Galaxy KA, at the 89.1° W.L. orbit location. The Satellite
Division authorized Intelsat to provide Fixed-Satellite Service, including Direct-to-Home services, at 89.1° W.L. using the 18.3-18.8 GHz
 (space-to-Earth), 19.7-20.2 GHz (space-to-Earth), 28.35-28.6 GHz (Earth-to-space), 29.25-29.50 GHz (Earth-to-space), and 29.5-30.0 GHz
(Earth-to-space) frequency bands on a primary basis to North and South America. The Satellite Division also authorized Intelsat to conduct
telemetry, tracking and command operations in the 29.5-30.0 GHz (Earth-to-space) and 19.7-20.2 GHz (space-to-Earth) frequency bands at
89.1° W.L. Intelsat's request for a waiver of Section 25.202(g) of the Commission's rules to allow Intelsat to use the 3700-4200 MHz
(space-to-Earth) and 5925-6425 MHz (Earth-to-space) frequency bands for transfer and emergency telemetry, tracking and command operations
