SAT-MOD-20130830-00110 E S2460 Intelsat License LLC Date Filed: 08/30/2013 15:07:10:54300 Modification Intelsat License LLC seeks to modify its authorization for the Intelsat 8 space station at the 169.0° E.L. orbital location by extending the 15-year license term for approximately three years, through June 30, 2016. Intelsat is currently authorized to operate Intelsat 8 at the 169.0° E.L. orbital location to provide Fixed-Satellite Services in the in the 3700-4200 MHz (space-to-Earth), 5925-6425 MHz (Earth-to-space), 12.25-12.75 GHz (space-to-Earth), and 14.0-14.5 GHz (space-to-Earth) frequency bands. As part of its request, Intelsat requests continued waiver of the Table of Frequency Allocations, Section 2.106, and Section 25.202(a)(1). SAT-RPL-20121228-00227 E S2892 SES Americom, Inc. Date Filed: 12/28/2012 19:11:46:26000 Replacement Satellite Application (no new frequency) SES Americom, Inc. requests authority to operate the SES-3 space station at the 103.0º W.L. orbital location to provide Fixed-Satellite Service (FSS) and Direct-to-Home (DTH) service in the 3700-4200 MHz (space-to-Earth), 5925-6425 MHz (Earth-to-space), 11.7-12.2 GHz (space-to-Earth), and 14.0-14.5 GHz (Earth-to-space) frequency bands. SES Americom states that SES-3 will replace the AMC-1 space station, Call Sign S2445, currently operating at 103.0º W.L. in these frequency bands. SES-3 also contains a 17/24 GHz Broadcasting-Satellite Service (BSS) payload, which is capable of operating in the 24.75-25.25 GHz (Earth-to-space) and 17.3-17.8 GHz GHz (space-to-Earth) frequency bands. SES Americom does not seek operational authority for this 17/24 GHz BSS payload as part of this application. SES-3 seeks authority to conduct telemetry, tracking, and telecommand operations at the 103.0º W.L. orbital location using the following center frequencies: 3700.5 MHz, 4199.5 MHz, 11701.0 MHz, 12199.0 MHz (space-to-Earth); 6423.5 MHz and 14499.0 MHz (Earth-to-space).
