Satellite Space Applications Accepted for Filing

The applications listed below have been found, upon initial review, to be acceptable for filing. The Commission reserves
the right to return any of the applications if, upon further examination, it is determined the application is not in
conformance with the Commission's rules or its policies. Consideration of each satellite application in this Public Notice
may depend on the Commission's action on another satellite application earlier in the queue. Petitions, oppositions and
other pleadings filed in response to this notice should conform to Section 25.154 of the Commission's rules, unless
otherwise noted. 47 C.F.R. § 25.154.

 SAT-MOD-20120813-00128 E S2110 Iridium Constellation LLC
 Date Filed: 08/13/2012 13:44:51:21600
 Modification

Iridium Constellation LLC requests modification of its license to operate a constellation of non-geostationary-orbit Mobile-Satellite Service
space stations in the 1617.775-1626.5 MHz (service link), 19.4-19.6 GHz (feeder downlink and TT&C), and 29.1-29.3 GHz (feeder uplink and
TT&C) frequency bands to allow it to operate additional satellites in tandem with existing satellites that become partially impaired. Iridium
Constellation requests waiver of the requirement in Section 25.117(c) of the Commission's rules to include Schedule S information. A previous
public notice announcing the acceptance of this application for filing, Report No. SAT-00901 (Sept. 28, 2012), incorrectly indicated that the
tandem satellites would receive feeder link transmissions only in the 29.1-29.25 GHz band.

 SAT-MOD-20130718-00096 E S2861 DIRECTV Enterprises, LLC
 Date Filed: 07/18/2013 17:04:11:44600
 Modification

DIRECTV Enterprises, LLC seeks to modify its authority to launch and operate DIRECTV KU-79W, a geostationary orbit space station at the
79.0° W.L. orbital location, in the 11.7-12.2 GHz (space-to-Earth) and 14.0-14.5 GHz (Earth-to-space) frequency bands. DIRECTV proposes to
modify technical characteristics of its space station to conform to the parameters of the satellite construction contract it executed. Among the
changes, DIRECTV proposes to delete a downlink beam serving the continental United States in order to optimize a beam covering the southern
United States, Mexico, Central America, and parts of the Caribbean. DIRECTV also seeks authority to modify its orbital location to 78.8° W.L.
DIRECTV seeks waiver of Sections 25.210(i)(1) and 25.114(d)(3) of the Commission's rules. In addition, DIRECTV seeks authority to
construct and launch a Broadcasting-Satellite Service (BSS) payload on DIRECTV KU-79W in the 17.3-17.8 GHz (space-to-Earth) and
24.75-25.25 GHz (Earth-to-space) frequency bands. DIRECTV does not seek operational authority for this 17/24 GHz BSS payload at the 78.8°
 W.L. orbital location.

 Special Temporary Authority

Intelsat License LLC requests special temporary authority for a period of 180 days to continue to: (1) provide Fixed-Satellite Service via Galaxy
 11 at the 55.6° W.L. orbital location in the 10.95-11.20 GHz (space-to-Earth), 11.7-12.2 GHz (space-to-Earth), and 13.75-14.50 GHz
(Earth-to-space) frequency bands; and (2) conduct telemetry, tracking, and command functions necessary to maintain Galaxy 11 at the 55.6°
W.L. orbital location using the following center frequencies: 11.701 GHz and 11.702 GHz (space-to-Earth); and 14.0005 GHz and 14.4985 GHz
 (Earth-to-space).
