 Nature of Service:        Fixed Satellite Service


 On August 9, 2013, the Satellite Division granted, with conditions, the application of Intelsat License LLC to modify the authorization of its
 Intelsat 8 space station to specify operations at the 169.0º E.L. orbital location. Intelsat is authorized to: (1) provide Fixed-Satellite Service in the
 3700-4200 MHz (space-to-Earth), 5925-6425 MHz (Earth-to-space), and 14.0-14.5 GHz (Earth-to-space) frequency bands; (2) provide
 Fixed-Satellite Service in the 12.25-12.75 GHz (space-to-Earth) frequency band, including in ITU Region 2 and portions of the United States
 that are within the antenna beam patterns provided by Intelsat in its application for Intelsat 8 space station at the 169.0º E.L.; and (3) conduct
 telemetry, tracking, and command operations necessary to maintain Intelsat 8 at the 169.0° E.L. orbital location using the following center
 frequencies: 12.747 GHz (space-to-Earth), 12.748 GHz (space- to-Earth), and 13.998 GHz (Earth-to-space).

On August 1, 2013, the Satellite Division granted, with conditions, the petition filed by New Skies Satellites, B.V. for U.S. market access for the
SES-6 space station at the 40.5° W.L. orbital location to provide Fixed-Satellite Services in the extended C-band frequencies of 3625-3700 MHz
(space-to-Earth) and 5850-5925 MHz (Earth-to-Space), the extended Ku-band frequencies of 10.95-11.2 GHz (space-to-Earth), 11.45-11.7 GHz
(space-to-Earth), and 13.75-14.0 GHz (Earth-to-space), and the Appendix 30B Ku-band frequencies of 11.2-11.45 GHz (space-to-Earth). SES-6
is licensed by the Administration of the Netherlands. New Skies request for U.S. market access in the 4500-4800 MHz (space-to-Earth) and
6725-7025 MHz (Earth-to-space) will be addressed as part of an earth station application to add the SES-6 space station at 40.5° W.L. as a point
of communication.
