Special Temporary Authority application - Purpose of Operation
Please explain the purpose of operation:
The prototype device will be operated for brief times when Omnispaces F2 satellite is in communications range. Transmissions will consist of bursty IoT type communications containing less than 5 kB of data each. These packets will be received by F2, and returned to ground via Omnispaces FCC licensed extended C-band links to our gateway in Brewster, Washington. The received packets will be processed and analyzed for characteristics such as C/N, Eb/No, BER, inverted bits, etc. in order to optimize the modulation and coding required to minimize errors.
