                 PURPOSE OF STA AND FREQUENCY COORDINATION

The purpose of this STA is to further test an automobile racing communications system for voice
communications that is in the developmental stage. The test will occur at a racing event at Road
Atlanta at Braselton, Georgia, the “Petit Le Mans” event on October 4, 2014. The race team will
be AF Corse Racing. The race team will use the communications system on a developmental
testing basis on behalf of and overseen by MRTC Motorsport Communications. It will consist of
mobile and portable transceivers.

The event will be at Road Atlanta, Braselton, GA: October 2-4.

The applicant requires three UHF channels for simplex and duplex voice operations.

The applicant has consulted the ULS database with respect to the UHF channels sought and
proposes what are believed to be unoccupied channels in the area of the raceway. The UHF
channels are each in the land mobile band 455-462 MHz, and one is in the band used for Part 74
operations which will be coordinated with the SBE coordinator before commencement of
operations.
