Thanks for the confirmation numbers.
Responding to your question "What is the relationship between 1003-EX-ST-2017 and
0998-EX-ST-2017? They look identical."

The dates are different. During the application process, the system moved me to a new page before I
could pay the fee, and there was no way to go back to my work to make changes.
1003 has the correct dates and was paid for.

If I can get into them, I'll cancel 0998.

I understand now why I didn't receive the emails. I was assuming they'd come by "email". I
spent the better part of 2 hours trying to find the link to open correspondence for a given application and I
still can't find it. I found the link to respond, but not to open....
