Subject: 0570-EX-CR-2018 pre-coordination data request
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Message:

Ms. Nguyen:

As reflected below and attached, this is to confirm that FAA coordination for pending File No.
0570-EX-CR-2018 has been completed.

For the two ranges relevant to this application and license, a summary of FAA coordination is as follows:

TRK 190089
Range: 123.5125-123.5875 MHz
See uploaded coordination. FAA concludes no coordination is necessary for this range, so the FCC can
be advised that FAA has no objection to the approval of this range

TRK 190090
Range: 136.6-137 MHz
See uploaded coordination. FAA has denied this coordination due to potential interference to Air Traffic
Control and FAA’s belief that for “Antenna Testing” any frequency range should be
able to be used. BAE Systems can accept a carve out that removes 136.6-137.1 MHz on the WD2XVL
license

BAE Systems considers this coordination completed – however if the Commission has any further
questions, please contact undersigned.

Best regards,

Jeff Rummel

Subject: RE: BAE Systems - Request for Call to Discuss Status of FAA Coordination Review - File No.
0570-EX-CR-2018 (TRK 190089-190090)

Jeff,

TRK 190089: Your comment is correct. Note that even though WebFCR shows a single frequency, my
understanding is that it is a range 123.5125-123.5875 MHZ. The comment applies to the frequency
range.

TRK 190090: Your comment is correct. Please provide a justification for the use of this frequency range
for antenna testing.

I will be in the office Monday to Thursday next week. Please give me a call if you have any questions.
