(“ViaSat”) hereby surrenders the above-referenced authorization to launch and operate a Ka band geostationary satellite at the nominal 133º W.L. orbital location, which the Commission granted on October 5, 2016. ViaSat has determined that its original plans for this location are no longer viable based on a number of considerations. ViaSat is today posting bonds for its Ka band authorizations at the nominal 79º W.L. and 109º W.L. orbital locations. ViaSat appreciates the diligent efforts of Commission staff in this matter.
