Dear Ms. Dortch: On behalf of its wholly owned subsidiary, Comantel, Inc ("CTI"), Dunkirk and Fredonia Telephone Company, through this this letter surrenders, effective immediately, the International Section 214 Authorization of CTI granted in IB File No. ITC—214—1993—0707—00110 (the "International 214 Authority"). Given that CTI no longer provides (and has not provided since 1999) any telecommunications services including those that require Section 214 authority, and has no customers for these services, CTI respectfully submits that it is not subject to the customer notification requirements of Section 63.19 of the Commission‘s Rules, 47 C.F.R § 63.19. Because CTI does not currently provide international telecommunications services to common carrier customers, CTI respectfully submits that the surrender of the International 214 Authority is reasonable and necessary and will not harm the present or future public interest, convenience and necessity.
