(“ViaSat”) hereby surrenders the above-referenced grant of market access for a Ka-band satellite at the nominal 79º W.L. orbital location, which the Commission granted on December 12, 2013. It has become apparent that ViaSat’s plans for this satellite are not currently viable due to unresolved challenges in the international frequency coordination process. ViaSat is pleased to report that it is separately submitting a bond with respect to its grant of market access for a Ka-band satellite at the nominal 70º W.L. location, and looks forward to keeping the Commission apprised of its efforts to expand its satellite broadband network at that location.
