(“ViaSat”) hereby tenders for cancellation the above-referenced authorization to launch and operate a Ka band geostationary satellite at the nominal 77º W.L. orbital location. ViaSat anticipates being able to implement additional Ka band broadband spacecraft to serve the United States once the current regulatory uncertainty regarding the role of satellite broadband in universal service reform is favorably resolved. The cancellation of ViaSat’s 77º W.L. authorization renders moot ViaSat’s application for milestone modification. Therefore, ViaSat is also withdrawing the pending application FCC File Nos.
