Dear Ms. Dortch:

              On behalf of Post—Newsweek Stations, Florida, Inc., licensee of the
above—referenced Domestic Satellite Fixed Transmit/Receive Earth Stations
E990435 and E940150, each located at Miami, Dade County, Florida, we hereby
request that the authorization be surrendered for cancellation.

           The earth stations, which had been used with commercial TV station
WPLG—TV, Miami, Florida, are no longer in use and have been dismantled.

                    Any questions concerning this matter may be directed to the
undersigned.
