                      Dear Ms. Dortch: _

                      Pursuant to numbered paragraph 6 of the Commission‘s October 31, 2007 order
                      with respect to the above referenced request for Special Temporary Authority
                      ("STA"), Intelsat North America LLC (‘‘Intelsat") hereby—notifies the
                      Commission that it completed maneuvers to place Intelsat 601 at 47.5° E.L. on
                      November 3, 2007. The satellite is now operating pursuant to German
                       authorization. Accordingly, Intelsat is surrendering its license for the satellite.
