INGSTAD (TANYA INGSTAD KNUDSON, PR) (TRANSFEROR) LANCE KNUDSON (TRANSFEREE) SATELLITE EARTH STATIONS E860707 AND E140126 FCC FORM 312, EXHIBIT F PUBLIC INTEREST STATEMENT AND DESCRIPTION OF TRANSACTION The Estate of Janice M. Ingstad (Tanya Ingstad Knudson, PR) (“Estate” or “Transferor”) hereby submits the foregoing FCC Form 312 for the transfer of control Midwest Information Systems, Inc. (“Midwest”), licensee of fixed satellite earth stations E860707 and E140126, from the Estate to Lance Knudson. As part of settling the affairs of the Estate, the assets owned or controlled by the late Janice M. Ingstad are being distributed to her heirs; the subject application is part of that process. Transferee Lance Knudson is the late Ms. Ingstad’s son-in-law. Mr. Knudson is the licensee of two FM translator stations, and has thus been found qualified to be a Commission licensee. A grant of the subject application will permit for the prompt and efficient settlement of Ms. Ingstad’s Estate, as well as allowing for the continued efficient operations of the subject earth stations by a permanent principal. For all the foregoing reasons, the Estate and Mr. Knudson respectfully submit that the subject application will serve the public interest and should be expeditiously granted.
