("SkyPort"), licensee of the above— referenced earth stations, we respectfully request that the Commission afford SkyPort a 60—day extension of its October 13, 2008 deadline for consummation of the above—referenced pro forma transfer of control of SkyPort from Balaton Group, Inc. to Lavell Systems Inc. Due to the recent well—publicized difficulties in the financial markets, SkyPort has been forced to reconsider the feasibility of the pro forma transfer and evaluate alternative means of financing its future operations. As a result, SkyPort requires a 60—day extension of its consummation deadline so that it has adequate time to examine all of its options and determine an appropriate course of action. As such, a grant of the requested extension will serve the public interest without causing any undue prejudice to anythird party.
