(‘Intelsat"), by its artomeys, respectfully regquests an addiional 60 days to complete the proforma transfer of control ofte earth and space station icengeslisted in the above—referenced applications. Effective Aprl 18, 2006, the International Bureau ofthe Federal Communications Commission granted the abovesteferenced earth station applications,‘ and effective April 27, 2006, the International Bureau granted the above—referenced space station mes Actensic applications." Purguant to Section 25.119 ofthe Commission‘s rules, the deadline for consummating these transactions is 60 days after authorization." As explained in the above—referenced applications, the approved proforma transfer ofeontrol will occur after Intelsat(Bermuda), Ltd. ssigns all ots assets to a newly created, wholly—owned subsidiary, Intelsat Intermediate Holding Company, Lid. The assignment ofasset to Intelsat Intermediate Holding Company, Ltd. is part ofthe proposed financing ofthe anticipated merger ofPanAmSat Holding Corporation and Iitelsat.
