("Telenor") hercby files this request for extension ofthe transaction consummation period for the above—referenced transfer ofcontrol authorizations On August 16, 2005, the Commission released a Public Notice, Report No. SES— 00741, authorizing the transfer ofcontrol over Telenor Satelite, Inc. from Telenor Satelite Services AS to Telenor Satellite Services Holding AS. The exact nature ofthe transactions for which we soughtthis transfer ofcontrol authority is an internal corporate restructuring to remove Telenor Satelite Services AS from the ownership chain of Telenor Satelite,Inc.,the Commission licensce. It has come to our atention that due to some unforeseen logistical dificultes, the suthorized transactions will not be completed within 60 days ofthe authorization, as required by the Commission‘s Rules." Therefore, we respectfully request a 60 day extension ofthe consummation deadline for these transactions.. We are confident that a 60 day extension beyond the original October 14 deadline will give us sufficient time to complete the internal restructuring for which the Commission has granted authority.
