SAT-ASG-20030527-00095, SES-T/C-20030527- 00700, SES-T/C-20030527-00701, SES-T/C-20030527-00699, ITC-T/C-20030529- 00266, and SAT-AMD-20030527-00096 Dear Mr. Abelson: On May 27, 2003, New Globalstar Corporation (“New Globalstar”) filed the above- referenced applications seeking Commission approval of the assignment or transfer of control of certain Commission authorizations relating to the operation of the Globalstar mobile satellite service system, from Globalstar, L.P. (“Globalstar”) or its affiliate, L/Q Licensee, Inc. (“LQL”), to New Globalstar. Subsequently, on November 20, 2003, Globalstar and Thermo Capital Partners, L.L.C. (“Thermo”) received approval from the U.S. Bankruptcy Court in Delaware for Thermo to acquire a majority interest in a reorganized Globalstar. The Thermo transaction will supersede the prior agreement between ICO Global Communications (Holdings) Limited (“ICO”) and Globalstar, under which ICO, through New Globalstar Corporation, would acquire Globalstar’s assets, subject to Commission approval of the above-referenced applications. Accordingly, New Globalstar, Globalstar, and LQL request withdrawal of the above-referenced applications. dc-366774
