FCC Form 312 STA Request RadiOhio Incorporated Request for Special Temporary Authority RadiOhio Incorporated (“Applicant”) hereby requests special temporary authority to permit the consummation of the transfer of control of Applicant to TEGNA Inc. (“TEGNA”), as described in File No. SES-T/C-20190620-00807 (the “Transfer Application”). Applicant is the licensee of earth stations E100111 and E100112. The Transfer Application was filed on June 20, 2019, and placed on public notice as accepted for filing on July 24, 2019. 5 The Transfer Application is part of a broader transaction (the “Dispatch Transaction”) pursuant to which TEGNA will assume control of the broadcast television and radio stations owned by Applicant and related entities that comprise the Dispatch Broadcast Group. The Media Bureau and Wireless Telecommunications Bureau have approved the related applications, 6 and the Dispatch Transaction otherwise is ripe for consummation. Grant of the special temporary authority requested herein would serve the public interest by allowing the prompt closing of the broader Dispatch Transaction without disrupting Applicant’s use of the subject earth stations for newsgathering and other programming purposes in connection with Applicant’s broadcast stations. 5 See Satellite Radio Applications Accepted for Filing, Public Notice, Report No. SES-02184, at 24 (IB July 24, 2019). 6See CDBS File Nos.
