Haras Development
Request for 60-day Special Temporary Authority

                                   Narrative Explanation
On December 6, 2018, the Commission granted Haras special temporary authority
(“STA”) for 60 days to operate its fixed earth station in Dublin, Ohio (Call Sign E181423) to
communicate with the DigitalGlobe constellation of NGSO EESS satellites. See SES-STA-
20180827-02508 (the “STA Grant”). Haras provided technical information for the operation of
the earth station as part of the license application for the earth station, SES-LIC-20180816-
02287. That license application, as amended, SES-AMD-20181219-03513, remains pending for
grant.
Following the STA Grant, Haras filed timely 60-day renewal requests of the STA
pursuant to Section 1.62 of the Commission’s rules. See SES-STA-20190129-00048 and SES-
STA-20190327-00490. The Commission granted the most recent STA application with an
expiration of May 3, 2019. See Stamp Grant, SES-STA-20190327-00490 (Apr. 3, 2019).
Pursuant to Section 1.62 of the Commission’s rules, Haras hereby files another 60-day
renewal request to operate under the terms and conditions of the STA Grant.
