Applicant: Intelsat License LLC CaIlSign: E190726 File No.: SES-STA-20190913-01196 Special Temporary Authority (“STA”) Intelsat License LLC (“Intelsat”) is granted special temporary authorization for 60 days, beginning October 01, 2019 to operate 200 each of the following antennas: 1.2 m Skyware Global antenna; 1.2 m GD Satcom antenna; 1.8 m Global Skyware antenna; and 1.8 GD Satcom antenna to communicate with “Intelsat Satellites” to support video, voice and data communications in the 14000-14500 MHz (Earth- to-space) and 11700-12200 MHz (space-to-Earth) frequency bands under the following conditions: 1. Operations must comply the existing station authorization. 2. Operations shall comply pursuant to 47 C.F.R. § 25.212(c)(2). 3. All operations shall be on an unprotected and non-harmful interference basis, Intelsat, shall not cause harmful interference to, and shall not claim protection from, interference caused to it by any other lawfully operating station and it shall cease transmission(s) immediately upon notice of such interference and must inform the Commission, in writing, immediately of such an event. 4. Washington, D.C. 20554 Re: Request for Blanket Special Temporary Authority to Operate Four Antenna Types in Ku-band Dear Ms. Dortch: Intelsat License LLC (“Intelsat”) herein requests blanket Special Temporary Authority (“STA”)’ for 60 days, commencing October 1, 2019, to operate 200 of each of the follow antennas: 1.2 m Skyware Global antenna; 1.2 m GD Satcom antenna; 1.8 m Global Skyware antenna; and 1.8 m GD Satcom antenna. Subject to federal Communications Commission (“Commission”) authority, the blanket authorized antennas will communicate with Galaxy 18 (Call Sign S2733).2 The proposed operations will be conducted in the following frequency bands: 11700-12200 MHz and 14000-14500 MHz. Intelsat has filed a blanket license application for these antennas,3 and incorporates by reference the technical information included therein. Further, all operations will be consistent with Intelsat’s coordination agreements for Galaxy 18. In the extremely unlikely event that harmful interference should occur due to transmissions to or from its remote terminal, Intelsat will take all reasonable steps to eliminate the interference.
