                                 EXHIBIT 1
                 REQUEST FOR SPECIAL TEMPORARY AUTHORITY

Globecomm License Sub LLC (“Globecomm”), pursuant to Section 25.120 of the

Federal Communications Commission’s rules,1 respectfully requests grant of special temporary

authority for 60 days commencing April 24, 2019 or sooner to add six new, 1.2-meter VSAT

remote terminal types to its VSAT Earth station license (Call Sign E000277).2 Globecomm has

filed an application to modify its VSAT Earth station license to add the six VSAT remote

terminal types on a permanent basis.3

In support of this request, Globecomm incorporates by reference its pending application

to modify its VSAT Earth station license.4 The pending application contains all required

technical information concerning the VSAT remote terminal types.

For purposes of this STA, Globecomm requests authorization to use the new VSAT

remote terminals to communicate with the AMC-21 satellite (S2676) at 124.9° W.L.

Globecomm understands that all operations pursuant to a grant of special temporary authority

will be on a non-interference basis. Globecomm does not anticipate that operation of the new

VSAT remote terminal types will cause harmful interference to or adversely affect any

authorized user. The 24/7 emergency contact is the NY Products and Services SME Team,

which can be reached at 631-457-1200 or OPS_SME_HAU@speedcast.com.
