Haras Development
Request for 60-day Special Temporary Authority

                                   Narrative Explanation
On December 6, 2018, the Commission granted Haras special temporary authority (STA)
for 60 days to operate its fixed earth station in Dublin, Ohio (Call Sign E181423) to
communicate with the DigitalGlobe constellation of NGSO EESS satellites. See SES-STA-
20180827-02508. Haras provided technical information for the operation of the earth station as
part of the license application for the earth station, SES-LIC-20180816-02287. The STA expires
February 4, 2019. On January 29, 2019, and pursuant to Section 1.62 of the Commission’s rules,
Haras timely filed a 60-day renewal request. See SES-STA-20190129-00048.
Out of an abundance of caution, and again pursuant to Section 1.62 of the Commission’s
rules, Haras hereby files another 60-day renewal request to operate under the terms and
conditions of the STA Grant.
