Washington, D.C. 20554 Re: Request for Further Extension of Special Temporary Authority Ellenwood, Georgia Earth Station E000048 Dear Ms. Dortch: Intelsat License LLC (“Intelsat”) herein requests an additional 60 days of Special Temporary Authority (“STA”)’ previously granted Intelsat to use its Ellenwood, Georgia Ku-band earth station (Call Sign E000048) to provide communications services2 to Intelsat 903 (Call Sign S2407) at 31.50 W.L. Intelsat has a pending application to permanently modify the earth station license.3 The Intelsat 903 operations will continue to be performed using the following bands: 14000-14500 MHz in the uplink; and 10950-11200 MHz and 11450-11700 MHz in the downlink. The operations at 31.50 W.L. will continue to be consistent with Intelsat’s coordination agreements for the nominal 3 J .5o W.L. location. All operators of potentially affected satellites will be provided with an emergency phone number where the licensee can be reached in the event that harmful interference occurs.
