Operations will be under the following conditions: 1. Uplink to Intelsat 901 on 14000—14500 MHz frequencies. — 2. Downlink from Intelsat 901 on 10950—11200 MHz, 11450—11700 MHz frequencies. All operations shall be on an unprotected and non—harmful interference basis, Intelsat License LLC, EO00048, shall not cause harmful interference to, and shall not claim protection from, interference caused to it by any other lawfully operating station and it shall cease transmission(s) immediately upon notice of such interference and must inform the Commission, in writing, immediately of such an event. Grant of this STA is without prejudice to any determination that the Commission may make regarding pending or future Intelsat License LLC applications. Washington, D.C. 20554 Re: Request for Special Temporary Authority Ellenwood, Georgia Earth Station E000048 Dear Ms. Dortch: Intelsat License LLC ("Intelsat") herein requests a grant of Special Temporary Authority ("STA")‘! for 30 days, commencing April 24, 2018, to use its Ellenwood, Georgia Ku—band earth station—Call Sign EQ00048—to provide communications services to Intelsat 901 (Call Sign $2405) at its permanent location of 29.5° W.L. Intelsat also will be requesting 180 days of STA for this short—term use. The proposed operations will be performed using the following frequencies: 10950—1 1200 MHz and 11450—11700 MHz in the downlink; and 14000—14500 MHz in the uplink. The proposed operations at 29.5° W.L. will be consistent with Intelsat‘s coordination agreements for the nominal 29.5° W.L. In the unlikely event that harmful interference occurs, Intelsat will take all necessary steps to eliminate the interference. Grant of this STA request will allow Intelsat to provide customerservices from the 29.5° W.L. orbital location and thereby promotes the public interest.
