Washington, D.C. 20554 Re: Request for Extension of Special Temporary Authority Ellenwood, Georgia Earth Station E980502 Dear Ms. Dortch: Intelsat License LLC (“Intelsat”) herein requests an additional 30 days of Special Temporary Authority (“STA”)1 previously granted Intelsat to use its Ellenwood, Georgia Ku-band earth station—call sign E980502—to provide telemetry, tracking, and command (“TT&C”) services2 for Intelsat 9 (S2380) on- station at 29.5° W.L.3 TT&C operations will continue to be performed in the following frequencies: 14000.5 MHz and 14494.5 MHz (Earth-to-space); and 11700.5 MHz and 11702.0 MHz (space-to-Earth).4 On-station at 29.5° W.L., Intelsat 9 will operate in accordance with its coordination agreements for the nominal 29.5° W.L. orbital location. All potentially affected operators of satellites will be provided with an emergency phone number where the licensee can be reached in the event that harmful interference occurs.
