BFI Licenses, LLC FCC Form 312STA October 2017 REQUEST FOR SPECIAL TEMPORARY AUTHORITY BFI Licenses, LLC (“BFI”), pursuant to Section 25.120(b)(3) of the Commission’s Rules, hereby requests Special Temporary Authority (“STA”) effective as of July 16, 2017, and for a period of up to sixty (60) days post grant, to permit continued operation of its Lino Lakes, Minnesota, fixed satellite earth station licensed under Call Sign E4394 (the “License”) pending processing and final action on its petition for reinstatement and renewal of the License, which is being filed contemporaneously with this STA request. As explained in the renewal application, BFI did not file a timely application for renewal of the License, but has submitted a fully supported petition for reinstatement and renewal along with requests for necessary waivers of the Commission’s Rules. Accordingly, as detailed in the concurrent filing, there is good cause for grant of the temporary relief requested here.
