FRN: 0007202096 Licensee: Skyview Satellite Networks Full License Application Number: SES-LIC-20170710-00745 Skyview Satellite Networks is requesting Special Temporary Authority (STA) for its Viawest location. The Viawest location is currently on pending application, SES-LIC-20170710-0745 – E170123. However, due to the following reasons, operation is needed before the review period is complete for the full license.  The current satellite, AMC-8, is reaching its end of life, and has had significant solar panel failures.  All other Radio Network user groups have already moved to the new satellite, AMC-18.  Because of this the satellite company is pushing for Skyview Satellite to migrate as well. Skyview is requesting an STA for 180 days or until a license grant is received. The requested start of operation date is Monday, 8/7/2017.
