SES Americom, Inc. requests special temporary authority to operate its new WB K-14 antenna in the conventional and extended Ku-band with AMC-4 (S2135) for 60 days beginning on July 31, 2017 pending action on the application filed under submission ID IB2017002019. AMC-4 is scheduled to arrive at 134.9 W.L. and be available for service on August 1, 2017. Grant of the requested authority is in the public interest because it will allow SES to begin using the spectrum that AMC-4 will make available at 134.9 W.L. immediately, ensuring efficient use of the resources. SES incorporates by reference the technical information submitted in the application filed under submission ID IB2017002019.
