Communications operations will be operated on 12750—13250 MHz and 13750—14500 MHz uplink frequencies and 11450—1 1700 MHz and 11700—12200 MHz in the downlink frequencies. 3. Use of the frequency band 13.75—14.00 GHz shall cbomply with United States Footnotes US356 (used to be §5.502) and US357 (used to be $5.503) in the Section 2.106 and the Section 25.204 (f) of the Commuission‘s Rules. 4. Operations, shall not cause harmful interference to, and shall not claim protection from interference caused to it by any other lawfully operating station and it shall cease transmission(s) immediately upon notice of such interference and notify the FCC in writing. 5. In the event of any harmful interference under this grant of STA, Intelsat License LLC E170081 must cease operations immediately upon notification of such interference, and must inform the Commission, in writing, immediately of such an event. 7. Transmitter(s) must be turned off during antenna maintenance to ensure compliance with the FCC—specified safety guidelines for human exposure to radiofrequency radiation in the region between the antenna feed and the reflector. Appropriate measures must also be taken to restrict access to other regions in which the earth station‘s power flux density levels exceed the specified guidelines. 8. The licensee shall take all necessary measures to ensure that the antenna does not create potential exposure of humans to radiofrequency radiation in excess of the FCC exposure limits defined in 47 CFR 1.1307(b) and 1.1310 wherever such exposures might occur. Measures must be taken to ensure compliance with limits for both occupational/controlled exposure and for

general population/uncontrolled exposure, as defined in these rule sections. The FCC‘s OET Bulletin 65 (available on—line at www.fee.gov/oet/rfsafety) provides information on predicting exposure levels and on methods for ensuring compliance, including the use of warning and alerting signs and protective equipment for workers. 9. Grant of this authorization is without prejudice to any determination that the Commission may make regarding Intelsat‘s pending application FCC IBFS File number SES—LIC—20170310— 00256. 10. Any action taken or expense incurred as a result of operations pursuant to this STA is solely at Intelsat License LLC‘s risk. This action is issued pursuant to Section 0.261 of the Commission‘s rules on delegated authority, 47 C.E.R. §0.261, and is effective immediately.

The SKY—B1 TT&C operations will continue to be performed using the following frequencies: e 13249.5 MHz and 14498 MHz in the uplink; and e 11443 MHz, 11447 MHz, 11443.5 MHz, and 11446.5 MHz in the downlink. In the extremely unlikely event that harmful interference should occur, Intelsat will take all reasonable steps to eliminate the interference. The operations with SKY—BI at 43.15° W.L. will be consistent with Intelsat‘s coordination agreements for the nominal 43° W.L. In the unlikely event that harmful interference occurs, Intelsat will take all necessary steps to eliminate the interference. Grant of this STA extension request will help ensure safe station—keeping of the SKY—B1 satellite and continuity of service at the 43.15° W.L, orbital location and thereby promotes the public interest.
