        Comsat, Inc. (“Comsat”), hereby requests renewal of the grant of Special Temporary

Authority (“STA”) for 60 days beginning on June 26, 2016 to allow continued use of the

Inmarsat-3 F5 satellite (the “I3F5” satellite) at the 54º W.L. orbital location as a point of

communication for the WA28 Antenna IDs 21CNORM and 21CTTC/HUB earth stations1.

Grant of this STA is in the public interest because it will assure continuity of service for

Comsat’s customers who receive Inmarsat services via the Southbury Teleport while the

Commission completes processing of Comsat’s application for permanent grant of the requested

point of communications authority.
