Application: Intelsat License LLC Call Sign: KA263 File No.: SES—STA—20160415—00351 Special Temporary Authority Intelsat License LLC is granted a special temporary authority extension from SES—STA— 20160301—00186, for 60 days, beginning May 2, 2016, to operate its C—band earth station, call sign KA265, in Paumalu, Hawaii, to conduct telemetry, tracking, and command ("TT&C") services for Intelsat 805 satellite ($2404) atthe orbital location 169° E.L. under the following conditions: 1. Intelsat will perform the operations in the uplink frequencies (Earth—to—space): 6173.70 MHz and 6176.30 MHz and the downlink frequencies (space—to—Earth): 3947.50 MHz, 3948.00 MHz, 3952.00 MHz and 3952.50 MHz, within coordinated emission and power limits. 2. All operations under this grant of special temporary authority shall be on an unprotected and non—harmfulinterference basis. Intelsat‘s KA265 shall not cause harmful interference to, and shall not claim protection from interference caused to it by, any other lawfully operating radio communication system. 3. In the event of any harmfulinterference under this grant of special temporary authority, Intelsat License LLC must cease operations immediately upon notification of suchinterference, and must inform the Commission, in writing, immediately of such an event. 4. Grant of this authorization is without prejudice to any determination that the Commission may make regarding pending or future Intelsat License LLC applications. 5. Any action taken or expense incurred as a result of operations pursuant to this special temporary authority is solely ‘at Intelsat License LLC‘s risk. 6. Intelsat 805 arrived on station on February 27, 2016. The Intelsat 805 TT&C operations will continue to be performed using the following frequencies: 3947.5 MHz, 3948.0 MHz, 3952.0 MHz, 3952.5 MHz, 6173.7 MHz, and 6176.3 MHz. Intelsat has filed an application to permanently modify the KA265 license to allow for TT&C operations at 169.0° E.L.4 Intelsat will continue to perform TT&C operations proposed herein in accordance with its coordination agreements for 169.0° E.L. and on a non—interference/non—protected basis. Intelsat incorporates by reference its pending application for authority to use this antenna to transmit in these frequencies on a permanent basis." The application contains detailed technical information (Exhibits A and B) that demonstrates the operation of the earth station will be compatible with its electromagnetic environment and will not cause harmful interference into any lawfully operating terrestrial facility.
