Dortch, Secretary Federal Communications Commission 445 Twelfth Street, SW Washington, DC 20554 Re: Supplement to HNS License Sub, LLC Application for Special Temporary Authority – SES-STA-20150814-00524 Dear Ms. Dortch: On August 14, 2015, HNS License Sub, LLC (Hughes) filed an application for special temporary authority for 60 days to operate up to 100,000 remote earth terminals (74 cm in diameter) in the Ka-band fixed satellite service, including a partial waiver of Section 25.209(b)’s cross-polarization requirements.1 To supplement the application, Hughes clarifies that it will file an application for regular authority for these antennas by modifying call sign E060445.
