Applicant: Intelsat License LLC File No.: SES—STA—20150717—00462 Call Sign: E040125 Special Temporary Authority (STA) Intelsat License LLC ("Intelsat") is granted a STA to operate its C—band earth station, Call Sign E040125, located in, Riverside, California, for 30 days to conduct launch and early orbit phase (LEOP) services and provide telemetry, tracking, and control (TT&C) functions during in—orbit testing (IOT) and drift of the U.S. licensed Intelsat 34 satellite. The satellite is expected to be launched on August 20, 2015. The LEOP and TT&C operations during IOT will be under the following conditions: $: Uplink (Earth—to—space) frequencyto Intelsat 34 satellite are 6173.70 MHz and 6176.30 MHz (LHCP) center frequency within coordinated emission and power limits. Downlink (space—to—Earth) frequencies fromIntelsat 34 satellite are 3949 MHz, 3949.50 MHz, 19 3950.50 MHz, and 3951 MHz (RHCP) center frequencies. Intelsat will coordinate the proposed IOT operations at IOT location 51.5° W.L. with operators of co—frequency satellites within six degrees. During the drift from 51.5° W.L. to thesatellite‘s permanent orbital location 55.5° W.L. Intelsat will coordinate with operators of co—frequency satellitesin the drift path. 4. The LEOP operations must be coordinated with all operatorsofsatellites that use the same frequency bands and arein the LEOP path. All operators of satellites in thatpath will be provided with an emergency phone number where thelicensee can be reached in the event that harmful interference occurs. Intelsat‘s E040125 shall not cause harmful interference to, and shall not claim protection from interference caused to it by, any other lawfully operating radio communication system. 5. In the event of any harmful interference as a result of operations under this grantof STA, Intelsat shall cease operations immediately upon notification of such interference and shall immediately inform the Commission, in writing, of such an event. 6. Grant of this STA is without prejudice to any determination that the Commission may make regarding pending or future Intelsat License LLC applications. Intelsat License LLC herein requests a grant of Special Temporary Authority for 30 days, commencing August 18, 2015, to use its Riverside, (falifornia C—band earth station, call sign EO40125, to provide launch and early orbit phase services for Intelsat 34, which is expected to be launched on August 18, 2015. 13.
