I am submitting the attached Narrative to correct the confusion I caused by referring in the original Narrative to the Frequency Coordination and Interference Analysis Report submitted with the Application as having been prepared for SBY 20. As explained in my telephone call with you earlier today, SBY 20 is the designation used internally by Airbus DS Satcom Government, Inc. for the antenna which is identified in the FCC KA312 authorization for this antenna as Southbury 11M. As further explained in the Corrected Narrative, the antenna which I referred to as SBY 20 in the original Narrative is identified in the “Antenna Facilities” section of the KA312 license as Southbury 11M. The Frequency Coordination and Interference Analysis Report for Southbury 11M was originally submitted to the Commission in 2002 with a KA312 Modification Application (SES-MOD-20020919-01620) to add ALSAT authorization for Southbury 11M. Southbury 11M is sited nearby SBY 20 on the grounds of the Southbury teleport and the power and other specifications that were used for the Southbury 11M frequency coordination are comparable to that to be used for the SBY 20 testing. It is respectfully requested that the original Narrative that was submitted with the STA Application be replaced with the Corrected Narrative and that the Southbury 11M coordination report which was attached to the STA application be accepted to satisfy the coordination requirements for purposes of the SBY 20 testing STA. As agreed in our telephone call I am adding this email and the Corrected Narrative to the IBFS file for the STA Application via the Pleadings and Comments IBFS vehicle.
