Request for Extension of Special Temporary Authority The International Bureau previously granted the request filed by O3b Limited (“O3b”) for special temporary authority (“STA”) 1 to operate its 2.4m earth station located in Haleiwa, Hawaii (the “Hawaii 2.4m Earth Station”) in accordance with the parameters specified in its underlying license application. 2 Pursuant to Section 25.120 of the Commission’s rules, 3 O3b hereby requests an extension of its STA covering the 180-day period between March 10, 2015, and September 6, 2015. O3b’s extension request is supported by good cause. An extension will enable O3b to continue to communicate with O3b’s system and provide support and redundancy for the telemetry, tracking and command (“TT&C”) and data feed functions while its license application is pending. By granting O3b’s initial STA request, the Bureau already has found that facilitating these activities is in the public interest.
