AIRBUS DS SATCOM GOVERNMENT, INC. REQUEST FOR SPECIAL TEMPORARY AUTHORITY Callsign E000284 Airbus DS SatCom Government, Inc. ("ASGIT") requests a renewal of its grant of special temporary authority to allow Inmarsat—C land—based half—duplex mobile earth terminals ("Inmarsat—C METs") authorized under callsign E000284 to continue operating pursuant to a waiver of footnotes US308 and US315 to the Table of Allocations and Section 25.136 (d) of the Commission‘s Rules. The Commission originally granted the waiver in SES—LIC—20070416—00479 and waiver was subsequently renewed and expires March 5, 2015. ASGI has filed a modification of File No. SES—MOD—20121213—01100 to renew the above—referenced waiver. The File Submission ID is: 1B2015000289 Grant of this STA is in the public interest because it will ensure continuity of service for ASGI‘s many customers, including U.S. Government users. Moreover, grant of this STA will not cause interference to any other L—band operator and will not prejudice any interested party. ASGI respectfully requests that the Bureau grant this STA for a period of sixty days beginning March 5, 2015.
