Washington, D.C. 20554 Re: Request for Special Temporary Authority Nuevo, California Earth Station EO40125 File No. SES—STA—20140102—00006 Dear Ms. Dortch: Intelsat License LLC ("Intelsat") herein supplements its above referenced request for Special Temporary Authority ("STA") for 30 days to use earth station EO40125 to provide launch and early orbit phase ("LEOP") services for the ABS—2 (a/k/a ST—3 and Koreasat—8) satellite that is now expected to be launched on February 6, 2014.‘ Specifically, Intelsat wishes to correct statements made in the STA request and exhibit thereto concerning the satellite‘s licensing administration. Intelsat originally had been told that the satellite would be operating against a Russian Administration ITU filing. Intelsat recently has been informed by the satellite‘s manufacturer, however, that ABS—2 will operate against the ITU filings of the Administration of Papua New Guinea and that Papua New Guinea will be the satellite‘s licensing administration.
