(SES Americom) is granted a 60—day extension of its STA FCC file number SES—STA—20131023—00886 which was an extension of its originally filed STA requested under SES—STA—20130722—00649, with the following conditions. The extension of STA will allow its fixed earth station at Bristow, Virginia, teleport, Call Sign EQO0O0152, to continue to provide Tracking, Telemetry and Command of the Netherlands—licensed NSS—806 satellite as it drifts from 40.5° W.L. to 47.5° W.L. and to maintain the satellite at 47.5° W.L. (+/— 0.1 degrees) orbital location on the following center frequencies: Telecommand 1 6173.7 MHz, Telecommand 2 6176.3 MHz, Telemetry 1 & 1A 3947.5, 3948 MHz, Telemetry 2 & 2A 3952.5, 3952 MHz and Tracking Beacon 3950 MHz. 1) SES Americom shall not cause harmful interference to, and shall not claim protection from interference caused to it by any other lawfully operating radio communication system. 2) In the event of any harmful interference as a result of operations under this grant of special temporary authority, SES Americom shall cease operations immediately upon notification of such interference and shall immediately inform the Commission, in writing, of such an event. 3) This grant does not authorize U.S. market access for the NSS—806 satellite at the 47.5° W.L. orbital location. 4) Any action taken or expense incurred as a result of operations pursuant to this STA is solely at SES Americom‘s risk. 5) Grant of this authorization is without prejudice to any future FCC enforcement action in connection with any unauthorized operation of radio facilities. 6) Grant of this authorization is without prejudice to any determination that the Commission may make regarding pending or future SES Americom applications. j aT "3 o 5 e Lo dogs with Condrftss Ses. 12. Description SES respectfully requests a 60—day extension of the STA to use the 9M antenna on E000152 to perform TT&C only with NSS—806 to maintain the satellite at 47.5W. The FCC has previously granted an STA for use of this antenna to perform such TT&C operations (see File Nos. SES—STA—20130912— 00793, SES—STA—20131023—00886), but due to an oversight, a request for extension of this STA was not filed in advance of its expiration date, November 28, 2013. Grant of this STA is in the public interest as it will facilitate safe operation of NSS—806. All operations will be performed on a non—interference, non—protected basis, and on the same terms as the previously granted STA.
