12. Description.
SES Americom, Inc. ('SES') requests an STA to use NWM-16 and NWM-17 on E000696 to communicate with SES-6 in the C-band, extended C-band and planned C-band frequencies (3625-4200 MHz downlink; 5850-5925 MHz and 6725-6874 MHz uplink), once the satellite arrives on-station at 40.5W on or about July 22, 2013. SES has submitted an application to modify E000696 to communicate with SES-6 at 40.5W in these frequencies. See File No. SES-MFS-20130604-00470. SES has also submitted an application to serve the U.S. using these frequencies (among others) on SES-6 at 40.5W. See File No. SAT-PPL-20120717-00117 (accepted for filing Aug. 31, 2012). The information in those applications is hereby incorporated by reference. All operations under the requested STA will be consistent with the parameters specified in the earth station license modification and space station US market access request.
