Operations, shall not cause harmful interference to, and shall not claim protection from, interference caused to it by any other lawfully operating station and it shall cease transmission(s) immediately upon notice of such interference. 4. Any action taken or expense incurred as a result of operations pursuant to this STA is solely at Harris Corporation‘s risk. 5. Grant of this STA is without prejudice to any determination that the Commission may make regarding pending application SES—LIC—20130828—00760. 6. The attached letter from the FAA demonstrates that Harris is the current FAA 13. 12. Description Harris Corporation is requesting an extension of previously granted Special Temporary Authority, for a sixty day period beginning 6/09%/2013, to operate a 3.8 meter C band earth station in connection with a critical project for the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA). The attached letter from the FAA demonstrates that Harris is the current FAA Telecommunications Infrastructure contractor. This STA is necessary as it will enable the provision of critical flight path information to the FAA, as the subject earth station provides air traffic radar services to the FAA. Harris submits that a grant of this application will serve the public interest because it will assist the FAA‘s mission of ensuring flight safety. Harris has filed a corrected permanent license request for these facilities (see Submission ID No. IB2013001206, attached) however this application remains pending.
