All operations under this grant of special temporary authority are on an unprotected and non—harmful interference basis. Intelsat must not cause harmful interference to, and shall not claim protection from interference caused to it by, any other lawfully operating station. 2. In the event of any harmful interference under this grant of special temporary authority, Intelsat must cease operations immediately upon notification of such interference, and must inform the Commission, in writing, immediately of such an event. 3. Any action taken or expense incurred as a result of operations pursuant to this special temporary authority is solely at Intelsat License LLC risk. 4. Operations are restricted to parameters defined in SES—MOD—20130117—00057. 5. Grant of this authorization is without prejudice to any determination that the Commission may make regarding pending application SES—MOD—20130117—00057. INTELSAT. washington, D.C. 20554 Re: Request for Special Temporary Authority Hagerstown, Maryland C—band Earth Station KA264 Dear Ms. Dortch: Intelsat License LLC ("Intelsat") herein requests a grant of Special Temporary Authority ("STA")‘ for 60 days, commencing upon grant, to utilize its Hagerstown, Maryland C-bandmo grant of permanent operating authority. The anten inicate in the frequency ban and5925—6425with the U.S.—licensed Intelsat has a pending application for authority to use this antenna to communicate with U.S.—licensed satellites in these bands on a permanent basis. In support of this request, Intelsat incorporates by reference its pending application for authority to use this antenna to transmit to this satellite on a permanent basis." The application contains detailed technical information (in Wat demonstrates that the operation of the earth station will be compatible with its electromagnetic environment and will not cause harmful interference into any lawfully operating facility. In the extremely unlikely event that harmful interference should occur, Intelsat will take all reasonable steps to eliminate the interference. ‘ Intelsat has filed this STA request, an FCC Form 159, a $180.00 filing fee and this supporting letter electronically via the International Bureau‘s Filing System ("IBFS"). > Intelsat has a pending modification application to authorize its use of KA264 after the antenna‘s relocation from Clarksburg, Maryland to Hagerstown, Maryland.
