Applicant: Intelsat License LLC Call Sign: KA 258 File No.: SES—STA—20121019—00943 Special Temporary Authority Intelsat License LLC is granted Special Temporary Authority (STA), from November 9, 2012 through December 7, 2012, to operate its earth station Call Sign KA258 located in Hagerstown, Maryland to provide launch and early orbit phase services for the Eutelsat 21B ({/k/a Eutelsat W6A) satellite that is expected to be launched on November 9, 2012. The permanent orbital location for Eutelsat 21B, which is licensed by France, will be 21.5° E.L. The in—orbit testing location will be 31.7° E.L. STA is granted under the following conditions: 1. The Intelsat TT&C operations with Eutelsat 21B will be performed in (LHCP) on 14250.0 MHz and 14499.8 MHz frequencies in the uplink and 11200.2 MHz and 11699.8 MHz in the downlink. 2. Intelsat will coordinate with operators of co—frequency satellites in the drift path. 3. Operations in the uplink frequencies will be within the coordinated parameters of the antenna‘s current license. 4. Operations, shall not cause harmful interference to, and shall not claim protection from, interference caused to it by any other lawfully operating station and it shall cease transmission(s) immediately upon notice of such interference. 5. Grant of this authorization is without prejudice to any determination that the Commission may make regarding pending or future Intelsat License LLC applications. 6. Any action taken or expense incurred as a result of operations pursuant to this STA is solely at Intelsat License LLC‘s risk.
