Description of Special Temporary Authority Request Educational Media Foundation, pursuant to section 25.120(A) of the FCC rules hereby requests a 60 day Special Temporary Authority ('STA') to do pattern testing of the Ku-Band uplink Antenna schedule for the service being applied for. EMF is currently requesting a license for an additional uplink. EMF has made arrangements to commence testing this link on March 14, 2012 and hereby requests an STA to do so. This STA request is in the public interest because it will ensure uninterrupted service to thousands of listeners around the country. Pursuant to section 25.120, a copy of this request has been sent to: FCC Columbia Operations Center, 9200 Farmhouse Lane, Columbia, Maryland, 21046-1609.
