| 12. Description.
Intelsat License LLC hereby requests Special Temporary Authority to use its Castle Rock, CO earth station (call sign E990323) to conduct telemetry, tracking and control (TT&C) operations with the DIRECTV 1R satellite during its drift from 72.5 W.L. to 109.8 W.L. Intelsat requests that this STA become effective on January 9, 2012 and last for up to 30 days thereafter.
